A bit of weirdness was guaranteed once the Royals beat the Astros on Wednesday: all of the remaining four teams in the MLB postseason feature blue as their primary team color. It’s guaranteed that the two teams that meet in the World Series will both be predominantly blue teams, for the first time in who knows how long–since 2000, if you consider the Yankees’ midnight blue against the Mets to be a true blue on blue match-up. If not…the dark blue of the Braves vs. the Jays in ’92? Maybe? This has absolutely no significance whatsoever; I just thought I’d point it out. Carry on.
