It never felt the Lightning’s game from this vantage point. Even with Tampa Bay playing well–and they did, despite the loss–Game 1 had a certain feel of inevitability to it.

Does this mean Chicago is a shoe-in for the Cup, now that they’ve seized home ice advantage? No. Tampa Bay is a serious opponent; they’ve proved that already through three rounds. Still, we shouldn’t be surprised if tonight’s game portends things to come. ‘Cause…you know…they’re…
